I’m a registered nurse with over 24 years of experience in hospitals, mental health, and community-based care, and a registered psychotherapist (Qualifying), with a Master’s in Psychospiritual Studies from Knox College at the University of Toronto. As a Filipina-Canadian cis-gender woman, I bring a culturally attuned, compassionate lens to my work, shaped by both my professional and lived experience. It is my hope that you don’t have to face things alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP, Level 2) and Internal Family Systems (IFS, Level 1). Together, we move at your pace—gently exploring emotions, supporting healing, and creating space for meaningful change. I also integrate spirituality if you feel that it’s important to you. I offer the holding of space for your life experiences which may include but not be limited to anxiety, depression, life transitions (aging, caregiving, career, identity), grief, spiritual and/or religious trauma, and intergenerational trauma. I’m especially mindful of the quiet weight carried by many first-generation individuals (as I am one myself) navigating identity, family, and belonging. Outside of my work, I am often with my husband, our teenage boys, and our dog, enjoying good food, a great pen, or a walk by the water at sunset.

I offer an authentic, empathetic, and relational style to therapy to help you feel at ease while being supported through your journey. As your therapist, my role is to forge a strong therapeutic alliance between myself and my clients, becoming more of a companion walking alongside you—no matter what you’re currently navigating.

I offer a shame and stigma-free space to explore together what has currently brought you here. What strengthens my approach is the value of deep, lived experiences I bring to my work that deepens my capacity for understanding and compassion.

I am currently a registered Social Worker (BSW, RSW) and completing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at York University. As an intern, I bring over 10 years of experience working in various community, peer support, mental health, addiction, and crisis-supporting spaces, where I support a broad range of people and presenting issues. Throughout my career, I have supported youth, adolescents, men, and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals through a wide range of challenges—including addictive behaviour (substances, technology, food, sex/porn), issues currently faced by men and boys (masculinity, identity, 2SLGBTQ+ and gender/sexual identity), complex trauma (violence and family trauma), loss (such as suicide or overdose), spirituality/existentialism, and adolescent-related concerns (anxiety, depression, technology, image, and purpose).

My approach is real, relational, flexible, collaborative, and compassionate—rooted in the belief that we are all human, and have great capacity for change and healing if the circumstances allow for it. I greatly enjoy seeing light and life return to my clients. I want you to leave your session feeling deeply heard, understood, and empowered to forge ahead on your new journey. I look forward to connecting with you! Contact me for more information through a free consultation or book a session.
